This section of the book deals with operating problems and peculiarities. An introductory chapter covering the entire engine is followed by chapters concerning the individual main components. Theoretical relationships are only explored to the degree that the author believes is necessary in order for professionals to understand the problems described. The reference works given at the end of each chapter are intended to provide the reader with an opportunity to further explore any of the covered topics.
